Figuring It Out
I think sometimes we get caught up in doing life the way we think it should be done. I think we spend way to much time planning every moment of our lives. Sometimes we get so caught up in planning everything that we get confused and disoriented to where we actually are in life.
But the thing is we spend all this time planning but nearly all of us forget something. Not only is the next hour, day, week, month or year planned. Your whole life already had direction and purpose, your life has already been planned, by the master of all plans. God.
We are at that point where technology is everything. We need to know the latest news updates via Facebook, Twitter or what ever else there is and we forget that we don’t need the latest news when we have the greatest news available to us. The word of God.
Some of us are so caught up in other peoples lives that we forget about our own and we can find our selves going down paths that we have been deceived into taking because of the distraction of social media.
When will we realize we can’t figure out, what has already been figured out. Live in the moment, don’t be of the moment. God is using you all he needs you to do is listen and respond.
Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you” declares the Lord. “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”
I was lost on my journey recently until Encounter and God revealed something to me. I got back home and talked to a few people and someone spoke an eye opening word over me.
“Finding my purpose is a journey, not an event.”
Be prepared for a long haul to find your purpose in the kingdom of God. Take time to realize the little things he does for you.
Pray, worship and read the word of God. He will reveal things to you when you least expect it. And don’t be surprised when he does, don’t run away from what he reveals. Instead take it and do exactly what he has asked.
Be expectant Newcastle. God is moving. He is moving in our friends, families and work colleagues. A big change is about to happen and we are the carriers of faith and the word in this town, so let us stand strong and unite to spread the word and love of our Lord to the unfound and see a major turn around in the lives of Novocastrians.
